If the main Barnstaple - Bratton Fleming Road is closed please follow one of these alternative routes. The official diversion route is normally very long, going all of the way to Bratton Fleming, but there are other options. These do involve driving down some quite narrow lanes and I find the one from Coxleigh Barton-Collard Bridge is easier with less traffic than the Goodleigh - Chelfham Mill option.
