Over Recent years we've been very lucky to meet some highly skilled and experienced people who have been happy to join us at Hakeford Woods and share some of their skills and knowledge with a variety of people in the woods.

We've built a forge where Roli has taught some blacksmiths courses, where the participants have worked hard to produce individual forged pieces.

Paul has worked with groups to produce traditional sheep hurdles using timber harvested in the woods and has been running a course on metal casting where they have learnt about the different techniques and work required to melt and cast a variety of metals to make jewellery etc.

In the coming months we hope to be able to offer a wider range of these courses, please keep an eye on our booking page to see what becomes available.
