Since we opened Hakeford Woods in 2015 we've worked hard to add to the facilities in the woods to provide more opportunities for our visitors as well as some creature comforts where needed.

We've found that there are lots of people who love to be involved in some of our projects, whether it's been helping to build a new camp, pulling up invasive plants, cutting back the brambles, building a pizza oven, helping coppicing the hazel or splitting firewood.

We were very fortunate to be gifted a neighbouring area of woodland that we're going to be working on to provide additional opportunities and there will be lots of different projects to get involved with.

If you like the idea of helping to improve our disabled access, working on a new roundhouse, constructing a compost toilet, growing some veg or carrying out some important woodland management or conservation work please get in touch so we can keep you updated with what we're doing and when.
